Critique Day for Our Art Installations

It was critique day for our art installations. Here are the great pieces that my class came up with.

This is my completed piece! It is a sandbox with a ceramic tile hop-scotch, plaster-molded butterflies, origami cranes, and lots of outdoor games.

If you notice in the background, there is someone actually playing with the sandbox. To me, that means that my piece was a success!

This is Jasmine's installation. It is a beautiful installation piece. It is almost like a ceramic stained-glass window. Each ceramic piece is under-glazed and fired multiple times to get the gradient effect. All of the small ceramic pieces come together to form this beautiful piece.

This is Jasmine with her amazing installation.

Here is Kelso and Jasmine starting the hike to look at Kelso's installation piece.

Kelso plaster molded several rocks from his favorite hike. He then replaced the original rock with its plaster-molded replica. You can see the plaster-molded rock in white.

This is the class taking a minute to look at one of Kelso's rocks.

This is Patrick's monster. It is actually a political statement... perhaps you should try and figure it out yourself.

Again, the class admiring our peer's work. That is Patrick in the red, flannel shirt.

This is Jamie's installation piece.

This is Tracy explaining his piece. These are all bricks that he made and displayed in front of this store.
